Just wanted to let y'all know that my friend Joe DeRouen has a new book coming out next week. It's called Odds and Endings. It's a collection of short stories set in his universe which is a paranormal and often dark version of the USA.
I've known Joe for several years now and he's a very good writer. Not like yours truly :) His other books include the first 2 in the Small Things trilogy: Small Things and Threads. The final book is forthcoming.
The new book releases on the 24th pretty much everywhere: Amazon, Smashwords, B&N, etc. There's even an Audible version.

Welcome
Welcome to my writing blog! I'm an aspiring writer from Northwest Arkansas. I just got back from the Ozark Writers League conference and decided that now would be a good time to start my blog. My main focus is mysteries/detective stories and I'm currently working on a paranormal detective story. I also write poetry and I wrote a memoir about my father. So stayed tuned for the occasional sneak peak and other topics!
